Waterclock

Evangelos Catevatis

It is a clock-drop
we give one another.

If you can give
and accept it,
you live.

Though it become an ocean,
you will never lose bearing,
you will never drown.

One drop of caring
flowing from one to another.

A sea of understanding.

If you can be in me,
feel the best
and the very bad,
come close
give yourself to me.

I will give you me in exchange.

And the world will become
one room
one table
two chairs
one bed
and one of the two.
